Bob Barnes Memorial Skeet Field

Bob Barnes was originally from the Big Rapids area in lower Michigan and moved to the area upon his retirement in the early 2000's.  He resided at Norway Lake with his wife, Katherine and son Rob.  Bob was instrumental in starting skeet here at the club and revitalized shot gun shooting.  He had many friends up here in the short time that he belonged to the club.  Bob was a friend to all that would help you with anything..............anything.  He is sadly missed but not forgotten!!  He is still taking care of the skeet field at the United Sportsmen Club even though he is not there, his presence will always be felt on the skeet field.  We all can picture him with his Black 1100 still winning the "money shoots".
